Parma City Council meets on the first and third Mondays of the month for Regular Council Meetings. They also meet on the second and fourth Mondays of the month for Committee Meetings.
Council passes approximately 400 Ordinances and Resolutions per year, while helping their constituents with day-to-day problems. They are all part time employees of the City.

Council President Brennan is a U.S. History and Government teacher who graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Dayton with a Bachelor's Degree in International Studies and a Master's Degree in Secondary School Administration conferred by Cleveland State University.
A recipient of numerous awards for excellence in teaching, he and his wife, Deena (Denk) are the parents of two children and attend St. Charles Borromeo Parish. Active in myriad civic, professional and charitable organizations, Council President Brennan was most recently named "2011 Citizen of the Year" by the Friends of the Parma Libraries. He was serving his fourth term of office on Parma City Council representing Ward 2 when he was appointed President on January 8, 2011.

Clerk of Council Ramser and his wife, Linda, have been homeowners in Ward 7 for over 30 years. Ken and his family attend Holy Family Church. They have five children who are all graduates of Valley Forge High School and, in addition, have five grandchildren.
Ken is a retired member of Teamsters Local Union #24 and served as the Ward 7 Council representative for 2 1/2 terms. He was appointed as Clerk of Council by his peers on June 20, 2011 and officially took the position on July 1, 2011.

Councilwoman Mary Galinas has been a homeowner and resident of Parma since 1981. She and her husband, John (Bradley), are the parents of five and have five granddaughters and one grandson.
A Realtor with Howard Hanna Co., Mrs. Galinas is a lifelong member of St. Bridget Parish who volunteers for numerous local charities and community events. She also holds memberships in the Parma Area Chamber of Commerce and the Parma Historical Society. Councilwoman Galinas has coached and managed a wide variety of children's sports teams through the years. She is a Notary Public and is a Director of the Greenbriar Community Association of Parma
Councilwoman Galinas has served as a representative for the people Ward 1 since 2002.

Councilwoman Deborah Lime has been a resident of Ward 2 for over 50 years. She was raised here and she and her husband, Mark, have raised their children, Dawn, Aaron, Daniel, and Brett in the Ward.
Lime's father still resides in Ward 2. She is the proud grandmother of two. Councilwoman Lime attends St. Charles Borromeo Church. She has been active in civic and social organizations for many years. She has also been a soccer and t-ball coach.
This is Councilwoman Lime's second time holding public office. She was Ward 2 Councilwoman from December 11, 1991 until December 31, 2003. Councilwoman Lime was unanimously voted to fulfill the Ward 2 Council position by the Ward 2 Precinct Committee people until December 31, 2011. She filled the vacancy on January 22, 2011.

Councilman Casselberry is serving his first term on council after being elected in November of 2011.
He is an 18-year member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local #38. He is currently employed by Clear Channel Outdoor which is located in Parma.
Councilman Casselberry and his wife, Judy, are the parents of three children, and they are active in the St. Charles Borromeo Parish. He is actively involved in our community ranging from coaching youth sports to serving as president for his golf league. In 2011, Mark was presented with a citizens award from both the cities of Cleveland and Parma for assisting a motorcycle officer that was involved in a serious traffic accident.

Councilman Day is a graduate of Holy Name High School and earned a Bachelor’s degree in communications from John Carroll University.
He is married to Colleen Corrigan Day and is the father of three daughters. The family attends St. Columbkille Catholic Church where the councilman is involved in parish functions as well as coaching girls’ baseball and basketball.
Councilman Day has been a resident of Ward 4 for 15 years.

Councilman Divis is a Cleveland native who graduated from West Tech High School and then attended Cuyahoga Community College, earning an associate’s degree in business. He and his wife Michele were married in 1980 and have four children.
Divis has been involved with coaching T-ball, softball and volleyball in Parma and in St. Anthony’s CYO programs. He has served St. Anthony as a Eucharistic minister and still serves as a CYO site director for basketball and volleyball youth athletic programs. He also serves on fund-raising boards for Padua High School and St. Anthony's school athletic programs.
He was elected to serve the residents of Ward 5 in Nov. 2011.

Councilman Napoli is serving his fifth term of office on Parma City Council.
A 1979 graduate of Valley Forge High School, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Management from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in 1984. Employed by PPG Industries, he and his wife Debbie have two sons, Larry and Ryan.
Councilman Napoli and his family are actively involved in St. Anthony’s parish where he also coaches the CYO varsity football team.

Councilman Brochetti was born and raised in Parma. He is a proud graduate of the Parma City School District. Brian and his wife, Amber, were wed in 2008; the two met their senior year of high school.
Brochetti earned his Juris Doctorate from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. He has also obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcasting/Mass Communication from Baldwin-Wallace College.
Before his appointment to council in July 2011, Brochetti served the City of Parma in several other positions including clerk for Mayor Dean DePiero, a Law Clerk for the Parma Law Department, and as an adult Probation Officer for Parma Municipal Court. Councilman Brochetti has also coached wrestling at Parma Senior High School since 2006.

Councilman Tuma is an attorney with the law firm of Robert L. Tuma & Associates. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. He also earned a Bachelor's Degree in History/Political Science from Walsh College and a Master's Degree in History from Cleveland State University. He is a graduate of Padua Franciscan High School.
Councilman Tuma and his wife, Joann, are the parents of two children and attend St. Charles Borromeo Church. He has served as President of the Parma Bar Association and on the City of Parma Board of Zoning Appeals. In addition, he served as a voluntary magistrate for the Parma Juvenile Diversion Program.
Councilman Tuma was appointed to this position in July of 2005. He was then elected to a two-year term in the November 2005 election.

Councilman Jech is “the Dean” of Parma City Council. He is now serving his ninth term of office in the legislative branch of our municipal government.
A graduate of Valley Forge High School, he attended Tri-C’s western campus until entering the military in 1972. After completing a three-year tour of duty in the Army overseas, he returned to the area and later married his wife, Maureen.
The parents of three, the family belongs to St. Columbkille Catholic Church.
