Energy Efficiency and Conservation Programs
Residential and Commercial Rebate & Loan Programs
The City of Parma is proud to introduce the new residential and commercial rebates and loan programs made available via the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act of 2009 (ARRA). ARRA created the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) program, which provided Parma with $715,300 to create programs for homeowners and business owners to purchase products that will help improve energy efficiencies and ultimately conserve energy use.
The programs will be run on a first-come, first-served basis. There is a maximum benefit of $750 for homes and $1500 per business address. The programs will be offered through the City of Parma Community Services and Economic Development Department.
For homeowners, rebates are available for many home appliance and fixture upgrades, and low interest loans are available for significant structural projects.
For business property owners, rebates are available for HVAC and lighting upgrades, and for programmable thermostats. Low interest loans are available for significant structural projects.
For your convenience links are available on the bottom of this page to connect you to the details for either residential or commercial programs.
