Auditor Brian Day was elected in November 2015. Prior to his role as auditor, he served as Ward 4 councilman for 12 years.
He is responsible for monitoring finances and coordinating the city's accounts payables, payroll, management reporting and budget preparation. His office coordinates the municipality's annual audit and prepares the city's Comprehensive Annual Finance Report.
The Office of the Auditor also oversees the Vital Statistics Office and Management Information System, which records, stores and reproduces internal financial information, along with supporting the city's computer network and employee workstations.
Day is a graduate of Holy Name High School and John Carroll University. He is married to Colleen Corrigan Day and is the father of three daughters. He is active in numerous civic and social organizations throughout Parma.
